One of the founding fathers of Jamiesons Run, William "Billy" Chaffey knew he could always depend on the trusted companionship of his reliable Kelpie shadowing his side as he strode through the vineyards.
The original Jamiesons Run was a remote outback sheep station owned by the Jamieson Brothers in the mid 1800s. The winery was named after the siblings as a tribute to their pioneering past. Since the early 1950s Jamiesons Run has been crafting fruit with a winemaking focus that starts in the vineyard.
Deep red in colour, this Cabernet Sauvignon sourced from South Eastern Australia offers generous dark berry and plum flavours and is enhanced by varietal mint characters and a smooth, lingering finish.
